Dr. Bleckmon has 35 years of pastoral experience, and has been the senior pastor at Prairie since 2014. He and his wife, Ingrid, have two children. Dr. Bleckmon has written two books: Stranded: My 20 Days at Sea, and The Disciple’s Guide to Life.

Harold Bleckmon once drifted at sea in a broken sailboat in the South Pacific for nearly three weeks, and was finally rescued by shark researchers off the Great Barrier Reef of Australia. But that didn’t stop is love of ocean sailing. He has ferried boats to Micronesia for Canvasback Missions and spent a year as a missionary bringing Bibles to the indigenous peoples living along the Amazon River of Peru.__ __Dr. Bleckmon has 35 years of pastoral experience, and has been the senior pastor at Prairie since 2014. He previously served as a pastor in Oregon, Oklahoma and Nebraska. He holds degrees from Pacific Union College and the Adventist Theological Seminar, and earned his DMin from Fuller Theological Seminary.__ __He and his wife, Ingrid, have two children. Their daughter, Grace, attends Walla Walla University while son, Dustin, is a student at Columbia Adventist Academy.
